DP system is a system for the protection of LNG ,LPG vessels, it can be designed as a tank which is stored with BC or ABC dry powder to cover all the cargo of LNG or LPG. When the N2 pilot cylinder is opened, the gas will drive the powder to the protection place.

The dry powder distribution valves are located in a central location. The system is activated manually from the release cabinet located in the remote control Station or operates by manual. When activated, the pilot gas opens the main valve of the space on fire and the dry powder after a time delay. At the same time, alarm is activated to warn. Dry powder is discharged into the space within 2 minutes
